Nikon D810, Zeiss Distagon T* 15/2.8, tripod, LE, PP in PS CC 2015Top of the overburden "Rungenberg" of a former hard coal pit / mine at Gelsenkirchen-Buer, Ruhr region, after sunset. It was rebuild / remediated as an overall artwork some years ago comprising those curious floodlights erected on its actually two "summits" which are accessible to the public. From its tops one may get stunning views of the metro area as well, especially by night. Note that the sky is remarkably illuminated / toned orange-red by night due to light pollution by the surrounding cities and industries / plants, though some hues were either enhanced and / or a tad amended during PP in order to produce an even more surreal look as already to be found in the parent shot...
