photos Cool August Afternoon

After a very humid July and August, this was my first "dry air outing"with my "new" $500 Nikon AF-D 80-400mm f/5.6 lens.

Birds, Lannie? Birds? I'm so used to the sober documentarian of small town life and landscape, that your snap of an actual bird seems like a picture of some fabled creature from mythology. :-)) Actually a good capture at an unbelievably high ISO. Looks like you got yourself a hell of a lens.
