Nice colors and very good composition. On the wall of a waiting room it would be something interesting for people to study. I do find that little beam of sunlight on the orange leaf to out of place and distracting.

A rather swinging Mondriaan, though... but all for the better as your work can stand on its own merits just fine. I have to agree with James that the light under the yellow-orange leaf doesn't add a great deal and disturbes the rhythm of the scene a bit. But to me, it's not something that detracts a great deal to the photo on a whole.

Since when has photography been underdog to abstract paintings !? ,,,what a ad habit,,,what about making references to our own big shots,,,,using our own ism,,,taking photography serious...Cant remember painteurs making any notice or references to photography, but if im wrong,,please inform me,,,,

Sometimes when it's grey and rainy, colours bring life.  Great capture and idea, I actually also thought of Miro. Wonderful!
