What a great composition and location, a lot of potential here, but if I can be critical for a moment I don't think the direction of light was in your any favour, my bet is you're already planning a revisit.

Thanks for your comments Stephen. The light at this location was very diffuse as the evening was overcast. I really like this rather subdued lighting as it allows me more scope in editing.

The location is on the south side of Loch Ewe, several miles from Poolewe in the north west highlands of Scotland.
