Got some beautiful local corn to go with dinner last night, on the

counter in the late afternoon sun light -- just cried out for a few

photos!

Sometimes you just have to photograph your food.

great shot and good detail.  When I looked at the thumbnail I assumed you shot this with your macro lens and then discovered it was shot at 300mm,  Good work.

Bill -- you caught me being lazy.  It was the 105 /2.8 D Macro and TC 201, in effect a manual 210 / 5.6.  I did not program the DF for that AI lens, don't know if it is possible,  but discovered that in when a hurry (or lazy!) selecting the 300 F4.5 AI setting, which is programmed into the camera works just fine!
