Sandy,  Yes, the dog on the left looks dejected that his idea was rejected and the one at right is looking askance to demonstrate his disappointment.  Might you be able to open the shadows more on the left dog's nose area to capture more detail?  You have two good sized  best friends.  Thanks for sharing this.
