Leslie Reid 5,214 Posted August 10, 2016 I'm finding this a very compelling image - I like it a lot. I especially like the fact that the black & white is allowing me to see and enjoy textures and details that I probably wouldn't have noticed had it been in color. The placement of the people is particularly nice--I don't think there are many ways that they could have been arranged as nicely as this. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted August 10, 2016 I haw a series of imaged at the same spot, in my portfolio, shooting in low tide the mudflats and padless and people was walking by. Don't take me seriously, just kidding with those title, "Crimson" seeing so many over-saturated red and orange sunset images in PN.Thank you for your comments.Cheers. Link to comment
jlg 0 Posted August 10, 2016 How nice to be able to see the b/w and colour versions of the same image. In this one I take the B/W, not by far though. The shapes and textures of the dunes look excellent, and so does the sun centred and the people (agree with Leslie, the position is excellent). Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 10, 2016 Hard to say which version I like better, they're both strong. If I was absolutely forced to choose one to hang on my wall, it would probably be this one. Link to comment
