It's an excellent image, close to portrait, full poetry and emotion and yes, evoking closeness, privacy or modesty. It's also enigmatic. I wonder what's going on with the people in there and suspect there's a story but think probably it's better to respect it as is and not try to find more :)

It is indeed an impressive portrait filled with character and meaning. The mood conveyed is one of introspection, contemplation, one in which the past is measured and the future acted on.  An interesting work as always.  Best wishes my friend.
