Su, lotuses have provided you with a lot of material for your compositions.  This one is unusual, with only a small part of a flower being included, and having most of the image out of focus.  I think the colors complement each other, and the composition works well.  Centering the bud and the radiant point of the leaf veins is OK, but to me the wavy asymmetrical edge of the leaf suggests that it might also work to crop some off the left.  The bud and the leaf center would be balanced by the dark background on the right, and the eye would be led around in a more dynamic and defined way.
