Hello Pierre!! this colourful Abstract does remind me of Michael's work :) but also speaks to me of the many wonderful Abstracts that you have done over the years that are similar - but this one seems like it is a bit 'fractured', or perhaps if I had it printed out on a piece of paper it would fold like a 'puzzle'?? You are a master of Design Pierre and I've always admired you many skills. I hope you are having a good summer my friend,

wishing you the best always, Gail

P.S. Michael does similar pictures, yes and he also likes to comment them, that's why he is invited!

I just returned from a week's hiatus.  It's a good thing I didn't miss this one, given your invitation.

I'll start by acknowledging the presence of blue tones, and by noting you certainly have the artistic license to use them as you see fit.  In this instance,  I think they add interest and variety to the image.

I've spent a good deal of time earlier just gazing intently at this extraordinary result of using polar coordinates.  My first impression was that, first and foremost, it's an exercise in geometry.  But something just popped into my head, as I'm typing this.

In my humble opinion, you've created a portrait of a nonhuman being.  Its face is present in between the two 1/4 moon-shaped areas; there are clearly identifiable eyes, a nose, and an oddly shaped mouth.  This being's head is mounted diagonally on top of its neck, perhaps a genetically determined feature that enables it easily to maneuver in its home environment.  The areas on either side are either communication devices or protective gear (or possibly both).  Finally, the hundreds or thousands of white shapes aren't snow; they simply a normal component of the atmosphere and help to sustain beings like this.

By the way, just looking at previous comments, I noticed Tony's mention of a friendly.  I did not see this until after I completed my comments.

My best always,

michael

You finally came, Michael!

I'm glad you didn't miss it!

As for your vision of the meaning, better to say look, I completely agree, it's my view too!

Thank you very much
