Wahclella Falls

A nice waterfall in the Columbia Gorge in Oregon not too far from

Portland. One need to get there very early to avoid the crowds.

I like the wet foreground rocks that set the whole atmosphere of the surroundings! Great composition!

I've not shot Wahclella. I agree the use of the foreground rocks is good for context - carried on by the background boulders. The greens look over saturated. The low perspective makes it more tactile - well chosen.

David,  Excellent image.  The foreground leads me right to the falls.  I like the exposure just as it is.  I have not seen this fall.  Is it a major hike to get to it, or is it just off the road?  Larry

I feel almost as if I'm hurtling into the waterfall itself. The composition would be very hard to better. Excellent shot.
