Coho 2 Posted July 24, 2016 This male juvenile American Goldfinch was in the deep shade with a sunlit background this morning around 7 AM. As a result, I had a slow shutter speed of about a 60th of a second and there was a fraction of movement. This gives a slight painterly presentation which is a little different from my typical work. jlg 0 Posted July 25, 2016 Really excellent shot. Your daring placement of the bird on the left third works well, the bird is priceless and the colours with the yellow background wonderful. I even like the dash of green (leafs?) in its peak. Link to comment
