robertbrown 1 Posted October 15, 2003 Comments, ratings appreciated on yet another water shot. I'm especially interested in comments on the composition--does the light area down the cneter work? Link to comment
jeff henry 0 Posted October 15, 2003 I like this alot! The water looks like Mercury to me!, cool effect! Link to comment
project 0 Posted October 15, 2003 I love the softness of the water. looks like you have a bit of vignetting on the right of the image, this is distracting. Overall nice shot Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted October 17, 2003 Robert, I really like the way you have handled alot of these water shots. Can you give me a few details on conditions and camera settings. I've been trying to get the best from a creek nearby which is in a ravine and ranges from dense low tree cover to open sky. Any advice? Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted October 18, 2003 Hannah, most of these were shot @ISO 100, f22 with shutter speeds of 4 to 20 seconds. These shots are not taken on particularly fast moving streams. Shots are at dusk--pretty dark, surrounded by trees. Any light hitting the stream comes out white hot. If you have any other questions let me know. Bob Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted October 18, 2003 Thanks for the info. I guess that means I'll have to dust off my 'real' camera as the Olympus only goes to 1/2 sec max without flash. Link to comment
