From a recent hiking trip into the Presidential range - Dry River

Wilderness area. We escaped most afternoon storms, but this one dumped

about 3/4 in of rain on us and cleared the air a bit. I decided to

leave the image dark. A lighter version showed more detail in the

trees, but this was the very end of the day. 10 minutes later the show

was over and we went to bed.

I like the lighter version best, seems more natural to the eye.  Ironic that you were at the "Dry River" ;-)... Mike

I like the idea of opening up the shadows a bit but I would keep the sky as it is (darker), particularly since the moon is present and you have the nice pink hues. This image really needs to be viewed large as the detail just doesn't show up in the standard photo.net size.
