I didn't know  what it  is  in a small thumbnail,  but  get curious.  I like the left of those dark parallel  line texture  ageins  the  lighter 2/3 composition with those  bicycles  and strolls. The  small long rectangular  window  adds  to the overall balance of the composition. Great street  shots again.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on this. With my usual twisted imagination I saw this as a Transformer-class insect ready to sink its fangs into anyone who ventures too close. I do have a rather weird view of things sometimes.

I had a teacher in school in a photo book making class, and one of his assignments was to make a (small) book using the theme of words and images to inform each aspect.  Now you get a lot of ranting about pictures should stand on their own etc. but I always thought he had tapped into a solid tradition.  Well, no one I know does this better than you. The title and this photo make each other.  First I looked at the photo, and I thought ok, interesting and then I saw the title, and I'm still chuckling.

For me this look alike some great bug (especially as a thumbnail)...that is why I like your pictures - you give whole another perception of the world...thank you for it...
