Coho 2 Posted July 12, 2016 This is a Flicker, a member of the woodpecker family. This is a female. This is a fairly large bird, probably 20 cm or so head to tail. She seems to be solitary as we have not seen other members of her family. She also has only one eye, the other one is injured or diseased. So we have named her Fiona after the Lyle Lovett song about one eyed Fiona. Link to comment
