Shot from my study window. All kinds of birds come into our garden depending on what kind of seed you put in the feeder. This is the first year that we we have goldfinches coming to our garden attracted by this particular seed. If anybody is interested is called 'Nyger seed for wild birds'. The feeder is a man made object, therefore it does not qualify for any competitions. Goldfinches have beautiful markings as you can see also from the photo above that I shot last week.

Beautiful little birds and you've captured them well.  So clear that I have to assume this is not through window glass, even though from your study?... Mike

Thank you very much, Mike !. The window was open. Little birds are normally very shy, I was hoping to catch them in flight...but alas they are too quick..:-).
