Thanks for viewing/comments! I was shooting with my Olympus but the camera

somehow got frozen (won't shoot) for a little while. So, I just grab this GX8 + 100-

400mm and shoot. Nice to be able to zoom back and got the whole bird ..

I know there are variables with each shot that affect IQ, and I'm not familiar with either of the cameras in use, but this is (on my monitor) a cleaner, sharper image than Skimmer-2.  Both are superb shots though!  ...Mike

Thanks Mr. Mancil! The other one suppose to be better (sharper lens) but this shot is nicer (in this case) as you had noticed. I like this one more also even though it's a smaller crop (the other one is a fullframe image). I accidentally had the f-stop as F10 and I think that make the image very define as well.

I've never seen these birds skimming in real life.Its ability to catch food this way is remarkable.Colourfull bird in action, well caught with mirror reflection.
