This is a very effective image—the color is delightful, the framing beautifully done (in terms of both maintaining the orthogonal lines and providing balance, with the two black windows on the left nicely counter-weighting the nine on the right). But the added value here is the subtle lack of symmetry that shows up within the windows—that turns what would be a simple geometric study into an image that keeps the viewer’s interest for a lot longer than geometry alone would have sustained. Very nice.
