This is a great shot all on its own, but I think the lighting is what really makes it stand out, great job!

Thanks Mr. Mancil! LOL, I've only learnt enough to shoot bird, as you know, digital camera takes months of intense study to know all the capabilities. This thing has some HDR mode that I sure like to check out but I am too absorb with bird shooting for any landscape endeavor. May be at the end of this month when I take a week off to go to Oregon I can try that. Good to hear from you.

Thanks Scott! Yes, the lighting was beatiful and  I had the image over-exposed and have to use the RAW image to pull it back. I set the camera to both jpg & RAW and generally just use the jpg to process and save RAW for cases like this (when I messed up, LOL). Was shooting him in the dark and could not change in time for harsher lighting. Glad to hear from you.

left bird out because it is beautiful and clear, however the totality of all elements brings the bird to high superb quality.
