Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 15, 2016 The antenna seems to need a shot of Viagra. The whole building looks to be in about the same sagging shape as myself - no amount of paint is going to bring it back to its halcyon days. I like the blue of the sky promising better times...or perhaps its just the glow of fading memories. Despite the overall decrepitude of the building, there remains something jaunty and even quietly joyous about the picture and that's the abiding feeling I'm left with. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted June 15, 2016 It's me, Jack. It's my actual self-portrait. It captures my spirit and my--alas--condition. As for my own antenna, well. . . . --Lannie Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 15, 2016 I know where you're coming from. Growing old(er) is without doubt a mixed bag of nuts Well, that may be an unfortunate analogy :-)) Still, I think there are moments of clarity, appreciation and understanding that are impossible at an earlier age.
