Perfect time of day to take this picture. Everything seems settled and still. The darkness of the sky only serves to emphasize the lush green of the grass and bushes. Kind of reminds me of Hawaii.

The beauty and calmness of the green nature in am image, I guess those who are residents here have a very long age.

Montauk Point is the easternmost point of Long Island's south shore.  It's the home of a magnificent lighthouse.

This one works for me in that the sky and land seem alive, and even though it's green still seems cool and potentially menacing.

I truly appreciate the time you took to view this image and to provide feedback.  Since the beaches in south Florida are materially different in appearance, I really took in this spot before clicking the shutter.
