bugs n' flowers Bindweed Blossom

Got my used AF Micro Nikkor 105 1:2.8 D in the mail this morning.

Slapped it on the camera and out into the garden. First set--not

great, this somewhat improved. It helped to look up directions for the

lens on line! All hand held, manual focus, natural light. Most of the

rest of the second set are in Bugs n' Flowers folder. Got a ways to

go to learn Macro, but having a lot of fun with it. C&C appreciated!

Keep at it, Sandy. I'm struggling with a new camera and old lens myself (my student recently gifted me his old Nikon D-7100 and somehow I can't get the level of sharpness I want using my Tamron 18-270mm lens.) I like this picture though I'd prefer it just a bit brighter if you could manage that without losing the delicate colors of the flower.

Jack, thanks!  I posted a lighter version, might be able to lighten just a bit more.  I often tweak a touch darker. Could be the monitor I use.
