michaellinder 16,611 Posted June 12, 2016 A fine old workhorse, Lanny. (I couldn't resist the bad pun.) It looks like it has been back and forth on various routes its entire lifetime, showing some signs of wear, tear, and age. It appears to be moving toward the darker period of its life, as ably shown in this image. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 13, 2016 This picture is just as solid as the locomotive you've captured. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted June 14, 2016 Lannie, I'm somewhat of a rail fan. An oldie, but a goodie, eh? Nice angle. I can see and hear the engine crawling through town. Larry Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted June 14, 2016 Thanks, guys. Yes, this one looked a bit beaten up, Michael, especially in that light, and it was indeed just coming up to speed after pulling away from the old rail yards on the north side of town, Larry. Jack, I am always struck by the solidity--even gravitas--of these old engines. --Lannie Link to comment
