A steel dash and three on the tree

This bird (must be a crow) makes this dark image even more frightening.

 

I Like this picture, the line, the darkness is quite intriguing. I especially like the car in the background! The headlights give this image a sense of distance and adds to line. I do wish it perhaps was a little lighter, not much, just a little. I wouldn't change the contrast, but maybe just adjust the whites a little to highlight the whites in the road

But a well composed picture.

This is a winner, Chuck. You've told the story with great economy - not a wasted pixel - and created a wonderful sense of space and distance This could be a scene from a Wim Wenders film. He was quite a good photographer as well as an inventive director. (I have one of his photo books).
