I was back at the beach where I have photographed this tree a few

times. The first time with my then new D70 (see earlier posts) in

2005. The tree hasn't changed much over the last 10 years!

The wood does show a lot of weathering since I photographed it 11 years ago.  These trees are subject to flooding during high water on the Mississippi, typically in the Spring, hence, the exposed root systems.

To Jennifer whom I ran into at Crosby 8/19/2016. If you come down here more often, do not leave a camera bag or purse in your locked car. Cars get their windows smashed every week down here! I forgot to tell you this when we met.
