Larger view preferred. How do we see what's in front of our faces as

photographers? In this busy plaza my eye went to the boy in the

doorway. The boy, the architecture, the heat of the afternoon are all

here for me. How do you see this image? Your comments are

appreciated.

Patsy,  Thanks again for being a fan in viewing my images.  I really like the steam locomotive and short train of yours that I viewed the other day.  Larry

Tony,  Thanks for the visit and comment.  I like the simplicity of this image.  I truly enjoyed your image of the old garage and gas station.  Larry

Lovely architecture and the boy in the doorway is the icing on the cake. While I recognize that you cannot repeat the shot, I would have preferred a tad more inclusion on the right side. This is a very minor thing on a brilliant street and architecture image.  All the best,

Great composition and street shot.  The textured brown steps, soft gold and peach colors on the wall allow the boy (with his blues and greens) to subtly stand out, complemented by the colors in the sign.  I think the crop is perfect.  Well seen and well-captured.  I also notice the nice horizontal lines offset by the dark steps to anchor the image.

I like this Larry, you've captured the attitude of this young man as well as his surroundings. It invites the viewer to look deeper into the setting.
