Trains run overhead, but the foliage, the reflected light and the paint

made a usually dark place an interesting opportunity. C&C

appreciated.

This is more evocative than literal. It's the abstraction that seems most significant here.

Quite an interesting shoot Sandy. If it was mine i would have presented it like this, what do you think of the above version?

Michail, thanks.  You are considerably more skilled than I at PP.  I can't say which version I like better.  My concept was a tunnel of light, dark, and green.  Both tell the story.  I appreciate your efforts, and value them.  Best, Sandy

It's not a matter of skillness Sandy, all i am trying to point out is that we should get 100% out from our images.
Keep shooting.

I'm more of a 95 per center myself. Always leave 'em wanting just a little bit more! ;-)

Seriously, though, I do like Michail's perspective change on the posts and his bringing out of the metallic light and feel of the row of cars. Michail's darks have a less muddy feel.

I agree, this is important visual stuff to consider.

Fred G, thanks! I guess photography, like politics, has become the "Art of the possible." I do tweak a bit, but suppose I'm going to need to dig into post processing a bit more deeply. S

In terms of possibility, a different approach to the exposure could have had some of the effect of post processing. Thankfully, this discussion can leave politics aside, which is part of the beauty of sharing other interests.
