At dawn, the first morning sun, low on the sky, projects the shadows

of palm trees and street lamps on the wall of an ancient tower on the

seafront in Alghero (Sardinia), an old man heats at the early sun.

First looking in thumbnail I didn't know what it is and now I see how interesting this shadows look and solitary man on the bench,a different shot than usual from you.

Very nicely executed. Catching a human being next to one palm tree shadow is itself great,  and you have got two of them forming a natural frame within a frame. what I like is that, the orange wall gives the sense of a second sunset sky, while the hard shadow of the human tells me, it's a wall. This visual contradiction imparts an almost surrealistic character to the image, or may be it is a giant theater prop. I also like the next image in the same folder, which shows more of what's happening behind the scene on the theater stage.

I like this one more that the onther one (with a bit of the seascape). The shade of the tree, the man position project a feeling of how insignificant he is as to the whole scene around him. But, he's the focal point!  TFS!

You have a good eye, Giangiorgio. An interesting image, as always a good job with  lights and shadows.

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

Caro Giangiorgio, as for me this image delves directly into the question of what is real and what is just an illusion.

Do we live in the tangible reality? or only do we live in a dreamt World?.

Maybe we not even know how to distinguish one from another.

The image raises a big question for me ... totally of a philosophical nature.

Congratulations, that scene or question could go unnoticed, but not for your eyes!.

Congrats. A hug! Laura

The shadows add and interesting aspect to the man alone, Giangiorgio. Wonderful composition, light and presentation. Best regards, Paul.
