The writhing vine wrapped around the tree like a python gives this picture a strange sense of drama. I guess it's all there if you have the eyes to see it. Very nice, Steve.

Thanks Jack.  This is right on the main trail, so I see it daily.  Today in the sunlight with the green foliage and blue sky it seemed to stand out more. This area was once a farm (Crosby Farm Park) and they apparently grew grapes, which are now quite rampant and wild among the trees that have populated this farm over the last 50 years or more.

I guess nature is resistant to the idea that she should be confined to neat little rows. But then she is in no rush and will have her way in time.
