Skiing Del Campo's North Face

My buddy Jeff drops into the north face of Del Campo peak in

Washington's Cascade mountains on a day of spring back-country

skiing.

I'm not sure which is more impressive: The quality of the photograph, or the nerve of the skier. I'm guessing this is one of those runs where you only fall once? Very nicely done. The high contrast of the snow against the rock makes a powerful visual statement. I have to wonder how this looks in color, if the skier's outfit might add just that splash of brightness to an otherwise naturally monochrome scene? Just a thought...
