Iris in Sparkly Dress and Hat

Granddaughter Iris.

When I saw her climbing on the steps I ran and grabbed my camera!  These moments are so fleeting.

A natural actress. She was born to pose (and you to take her picture). About the picture itself, I love the pose and the way she uses the railing. What I'm not crazy about is the wall behind her which is similar in tone to her face. The pale color seems to leak onto her face giving it a slightly greenish cast, at least on my monitor..

Thanks Jack.  I love this pose too.  Interesting that the other photo I took here of just her head and shoulders already has almost 100 more views!  I had trouble with the color cast in both photos, fighting the yellow of the house and the tones of her face.  I think there was some green coming from the trees where the main light was coming from.  On my monitor her face does not appear greenish, but the steps do.
