Ken; Nicely done and very well presented. The composition is excellent. The mast and halyard create a nice counterpoint to the consistent parallel lines running upper-left to lower-right throughout the image. The B&W presentation feels a little high-key, but that may very well be your intention, and quite appropriate to this image. Well done.

Hi David. Thank you for your kind and very comprehensive observations. St Ives is renowned for it's light and colours which attracts artists and photographers. I PP'd this image in an attempt to show the light in a slightly bright and high key way as befits the location, pleased you like it. Best regards Ken.
