This tree looks to be gradually losing its purchase on the riverbank and will probably share the fate of the fallen tree in the water you memorialized in a recent picture. It looks to be something of a Siamese twin (now more properly called conjoined twin, I believe, but at my age propriety is the least of my worries). Another very nice picture, Steve.
