You achieve what I am apways trying to achieve with portraits - CAPTURING THE SOUL OF THE PERSON.  And you truly did it again.  One little sugegstion - maybe go a lighter lighter on the vignette so it isn't so obvious.  Otherwise...a Fabulous capture.

I like the detail and texture of his face.  Those eyes are quite piercing.
