Rose Rose

I like the pose, the composition and the processing. The rose is a bit of a cliché, though. I think it would be more interesting if she were holding the nozzle end of a vacuum cleaner hose or maybe an iguana.

How could I as an independent observer possibly know her name. She should have The Rose Tattoo.(that's an awful long way around to work in a pun on an old Anna Magnani movie).

I do love the mood and texture of this image. I am sure I won't be the only one.

Every time I pass this image in the gallery I smile.  It is such a charming shot.  If the woman isn't a dancer she should have been.  A moment of frozen grace in the tradition of the best of modern dance.  I like it a great deal. Well done!

She is a dancer, in a circus kind of way. Look at the other images in this folder for more of her artistry.

Chuck -- I had seen those, and liked them, but did not recognize her.  All of those are excellent, but this has a quality of innocence and a softness. At one time in college I dated a Circus girl, and understand the physical strength. Best, Sandy
