Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 12, 2016 This is really lovely, Bela. Was it originally a color image? Striking in b&w though. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted May 12, 2016 Hi Jack. Yes, it was originally color, and was to much of a like Monet. So I decided to turn it to B&W and nobody can accuse me to copy him. It is my favorite location in the Bruce-Peninsula, Ontario.Thank you for you support and comments. Link to comment
Sandy Vongries 34,387 Posted June 28, 2016 I like both of these very much, possibly the color a bit more. As to copying, Monet, no worries! How many things we capture are unique or incomparable?Reminds me of places I have fished. Excellent photos! Link to comment
Gerald Cafferty 83,259 Posted June 29, 2016 Bela you are a master at B&W, it would not have occurred to me to present an image like this without colour. You have seen another image within and have handled the tones spot on. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted June 29, 2016 Color you just pull out of the camera, pre processed, still, a lots of beautiful artistic color images out there.But. To bring out more, more beauty of a photograph, it still has to be B&W, for a serious viewers a B&W print is more enjoyable. It is for me, and for many more serious photographer, art lover I know.Thank you for your comments.-BLM. Link to comment
jacek_raczy_ski 1 Posted June 29, 2016 Ekstrmely interesting it is the composition, 2/3 lilies and foreground. 1/3 three layers of water, grass and sky. Great contrast. Lilies Monet? Link to comment
