It is very difficult to obtain the perfect balance in a sunset. Or you get a exposure to the sun, (then the rest goes dark), or expose for the sky, (then the sun comes out overexposed)  In this case, I like the choice you made, because it is interesting the intensity of the sky. Many times it is good to wait until the sun is about to be hidden, so that it does not have as much glitter. I like the vignette you've added!
