Waiting for my Wife in an Office Park for a few minutes. I had

my "Opportunity" camera, the Ricoh GXR. Challenged myself to get

something interesting. This a sample from the Gallery of the same

name. How did I do?

I like the picture with its rounded forms, the contrast with the small pebbles upper left and the variety of tones. I read your remarks which I found refreshing, especially the part about challenging yourself to make an interesting picture while you were waiting for your wife. I've long come to the understanding that good pictures are not out there somewhere but are in a way summoned up, the natural response to our focused search for them.
