Canon 7D Mark II + 2x TC + 500mm F4 IS @1000mm - - Tripod & Gimbal head shot - 1/1000, F8 & ISO 640 Sometimes, 800mm is not enough and 1600mm is needed smile emoticon (500mm X 2x TC = 1000mm * 1.6 cropped = 1600mm) The idea of downsizing and shoot with 800mm seems .. so illusive now. — in San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Thanks for viewing/comments! I wanted to put the GX8 on but could not find the EF -

MFT adapter and settle for the Canon 7D Mark II + 2x TC III ... , hence, it's only

`1600mm focal view. Would have been 2000mm with the GX8.

Thanks Robert! Yes, it came out very well .. considering the birds are at the other end of the pond ,lol. The only mishap is that I only can shoot half sequence because my card filled up before the event finish. At least I got something,  good to hear from you!

Thanks Greg & Verena! If you look at the image next to this you will see that it's tough since he seems a lot shorter than she is (to get on top of her like that)  :-)
