Larger view preferred. The flowers in this Spanish Colonial patio

dazzled us. The convent is at the highest point in Cartagena de

Indias, the full name of the city. The convent got the name popa,

which means the stern of a ship. Apparently, early settlers thought

that the hill, on which the convent sits, resembled the rear of a ship.

Nice composition Larry. I always enjoy this type of inside looking out perspective. Good colors and a nice scene with a bit of history thrown in. Well done.
