I came upon a deserted house with old movie posters on the wall. I

took this shot of a poster for a samurai movie through a very dirty

window.

Another pleasing shot.  The posters are very intriguing and being taken through the glass combined with the quality of light - I find them very intriguing. Nice work!

I wonder what associations the person who put this up made with this old film.  An old house, an old poster, old memories and associations.  Perhaps I read too much into it but I see the passing of old ways, the passing of moments that were important in someone's life but which have been lost in time.  The "growing older" melancholy man in me, perhaps.  (Who am I kidding, I leaned toward melancholy when I was in my 20's -- but then it had a romanticized allure.)
