Alternate version of a previously posted image, with a somewhat lighter sky. I'm

curious to hear if you like this version or the previous version better. Your comments

There's certainly nothing to dislike here, this version is very natural.  That said, I still prefer the drama and mystery presented in the earlier version (a personal choice for sure)... Mike

I prefer the previous version with the graduated dark sky.  Of course there is nothing wrong with this version either, my observations are purely preference based on aesthetics.

Great capture David!

Mike; I had some feedback suggesting a bit more contrast between the sky and the deep shadows at the top of the tower. I'm with you, I think the darker, more deeply graduated sky is more evocative.

Alf; See my response to Mike, above. I like the darker sky, too. I'm going to play with this a bit and see if I can find a happier balance, but we'll have to see. Thank you, sincerely, for your input.
