Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 24, 2016 This is a superb picture, Michail. It's wonderfully expressive portrait of an old gentleman - perhaps a monk - holding forth in animated conversation; The setting is absolutely timeless, almost archetypial, and so is he., He doesn't seem to have any connection with our modern world at all; It's like coming upon an ancient survivor from ages long past. I'll put this one in my favorites. Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted April 25, 2016 Dynamic photograph that describes this fellow very well. His facial expression and generally his body language is superb, and so is the composition and tones. Bravo Michali, one of your best !. Link to comment
Saadsalem 74 Posted April 25, 2016 It is my second time to be astonished by the 20D in a three days period,I looked at the image sharpness, rich tones and level of details, they are really great and excellent, they are never less than a current state of the art gears, and I wondered why we continously changing our gears, and I figured that silly and stupid idea of getting a better photos with bettr gears, and here is the example to contradict that silly assumption. As for the image, those grey hairs tell all of its story, each one contained a life wisdom not contained in all of a black hair head of modern today.Life experience is more effective than the total knowledge of it. frigo 4,155 Posted April 26, 2016 Great timing on your part to seize the speaking hand. The man is obviously passionate about what he is talking about and the scene has some timeliness about it...except maybe for that zipper on his vest.I like the sepia tones which adds warmth to this excellent image.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
