The Bottom of the Canal

Sooner or later the tree will also end at the bottom of the canal. The tree is already pondering about that idea I guess.

One of the most original and distinctive images overall, and truly one of your most telling images of your so personal style. So utterly Earthly, so blatantly and conspicuously real. Such a crude and blunt image of human existence, of its presence, of its negligence. You can see that I am diverging here. The photographic and magnificent portrayal of the way to capture reality. Then the philosophical implications of such capture. Which way should I sway? I favor the masterful photographic perspective, incredibly complex, multidimensional. As always, each one of your masterful images has that subtle detail, and IMHO it is the fringe at the bottom. You could have cropped it or framed it differently, yet you did not. This so purposeful, deliberate intent leaves the careful, detailed observer wondering not only on it, but on the overall situation. I cannot sufficiently stress the depth and complexity of your photographic work, but only wonder and admire it.

I tend to see this as dying nature because all the waste we carelessly throw around. Appeal me much visually as well.
