An explosive sky!

The clouds and deep blue sky give this image an ethereal feel. One suggestion, remove most of the street from the image.

Thank you kindly for viewing and for the observation.The sky is why I took this....another shot of my favorite subject.I left the street portion to balance the scene,sort of rule of thirds and also to have that yellow centerline grab the attention in the corner and lead the eye to the good sky.If the yoke of the fan cloud had been closer to the church,I would have cropped this tighter and surely taken out the road.Taking out the road would also work as you suggest and create a more panoramique scene;the possibilities are great/many when  these good skies appear.
