I don't know why but this picture stirs the embers of adventure that I felt as a kid when I read stories of wilderness explorers and let my imagination roam free.

I think it's about my inner child, Jack.  In any case, I find that walking these trails and snapping these relaxing scenes seems to be therapeutic.

It's great how the trail takes the viewer through and leaves the rest of the hike to the imagination.

Jeff, I used to like to hear Charles Kuralt, with every episode of "On the Road Again," say, "There's a bend in the road ahead.  I wonder what's around the bend."
