This is very good for its wealth of detail in the narrow band of dune grass and shadows while the other elements, sand and sky, remain largely neutral. This creates a kind of negative space the Japanese call Ma which is referred to as the emptiness containing all possibilities. The only thing that I wish you had removed was that fallen grass stalk with its dark shadow.

Thank you kindly.I chose the square format here so I could keep that fallen grass stalk within the frame,but I see your point.I have uploaded at the left of this one the same image but cropped differently; is this still Ma?
