One of many new lights now illuminating the interior of Lichfield

Cathedral, part of the new lighting system installed after receiving £

£800,000 grant from the First World War Centenary Cathedral

Repair Fund. All comments very welcome, thank you.

The installation of this lighting system was fortuitous for your purposes.  It contributed to your capturing the design of this extraordinary building.  I'm quite impressed by the tonal range and contrasts.

My best,

michael

Ken -- Shot quite a few cathedrals in the UK in years gone by (always day time) -- never thought about the lights and the issues of adding them to ancient structures. Very nice shot and educational. Thanks! Sandy
