We were on a drive to circumnavigate the Great Salt Lake in Utah. We stopped along

the way and encountered this musician playing his double-neck guitar, sitting out on

the salt flats. Your comments and thoughts requested and always sincerely

appreciated.

Madeleine; The Salt Flats always make for an evocative setting. Thanks for looking.

G&V; I wouldn't know about "flat picking". He was friendly and cooperative, and made for an engaging subject. Thanks for your feedback.

That image would look much better if he would sit on left side of the frame with neck of guitars pointing to snow cover mountain on the background. Shadow of guitar should be within the frame. Need little more space on the bottom, less on the top.

Sensor on your camera need some cleaning. It is time to spend some money.

Ziggy; Thank you for your comments. I think they are all well-considered and worthwhile. Yes, it's time for a sensor cleaning...

At last, this musician found a place to practice without having to worry about excess reverberation or other sound distortions.  His good fortune was yours, as well.

In my humble opinion, inasmuch as the guitarist is the primary subject, the composition is spot on, as is your pov. The image allows me to feel his intensity and passion.

My best,

michael
